hi! i would like to confirm too that this job is a scam. i applied for the job and at first i was offered a basic pay, but in the end, the "boss" said that it's commission-based and in the end, i did not receive any pay. im highlighting this issue not only because i'm upset about this whole thing, but also because i do not wish to see others being cheated by this scam.
should anyone have any queries, feel free to drop me an email :)
It is not a scam even if the job is fully commissioned based but the way the post was made seems to scream MLM... maybe Dailyjobhunt can ask the poster to reveal company name for such suspicious posts in the future rather than posting without screening
the supposed company's name is Aced Asia Marketing Private Limited and the project that is being carried out is by Apprentice Connections. well, i've worked at this job, that's why i know it is a scam.
bryan, feel free to drop me an email if you want to know more.
I agree it is scam.
I called up this Jan three times using different numbers, all 3 times she refused to give any information regarding the pay or working location or office. All she said is to go for the job orientation.
They claim that they're doing advertising for events and road shows. But it turns out to be asking the public for donations. Students are made use to hold a piece of paper and approach the public to donate to this unknown "apprentice connection" project. Moreover, three of the staffs mentioned different dates for the road shows.
I did some research and this company and project doesn't exist at all. The shocking thing? This Jan girl is just an 18 year old student who just finished her o level last year. She is already the manager of this made-up company.
The other manager of this company is a 24 year old guy who frequent arcades and KTVs. He said he has been working in this line for 7 years and is currently earning more than 7k a month. How is that possible? Unless he dropped out of school since sec 4.
When they're asked about the salary, I notice they always emphasize on "helping the poor rather than earning money". Then I knew it. They are not planning to pay up.
I also highly suspect they keep the donations to themselves. This is punishable by law, please.
So people, please beware of this Jan.
hmz.. how do u guys know that this is actually a scam?? have u all actually applied or did the job?? it's a real serious offense if it is true.. oh yahz.. byw, how u all know the other manager is a 24 year old manager who frequent arcade and KTVs? omg.. what a company..
